About Dorris

Dorris Walker-Taylor is the Senior Ambassador for Thistle Farms and author of Hope is Always Real and Blessings in the Rain.

A graduate of the Thistle Farms Residential Program, she has triumphed over 26 years of addiction, trauma, exploitation, and abuse.

Today, she boldly shares her story of healing and restoration. Through her journey, she brings hope and strength to others—empowering women across the globe to find freedom and a path home.
